    Purification" in meditation, mindfulness, and yoga

    Along with meditation, mindfulness, and yoga, "purification" is gaining attention as a way to relax and reexamine the inner self, not the outer self.

    Purification means to cleanse and reset the space and yourself.
    In Japan, people have been purifying themselves since ancient times by placing salt at the entrance and using sake and incense.

    It is said that meditation after purification is more relaxing and effective.

    White sage, a sacred herb native to the land of California used by Native Americans, is believed to have the power to purify.

    How to use

    Take one white sage leaf and light it from the tip of the leaf.


    Extinguish the flame as you would incense, and after making sure the smoke is stable, place it on a shell, plate, or other non-flammable container.

    If the smoke disappears quickly after placing it on top of the container, hold it in your hand instead of placing it on the container to stabilize the smoke.

    If the smoke is spread throughout the room, it will purify the room.
